A Retreat

'A Retreat' an original pencil drawing by Ben Williams 275mm x 275mm

Known sometimes as 'Crowley's house' (named for Aleister Crowley who didn't own it, and never lived there), this is Carn Cottage above the town of Zennor in West Cornwall. Though it is now derelict (and some say haunted), it was, most recently an artists retreat, but has a fairly checkered past. It's one of my favourite buildings.
